Men's pants are usually made of cotton. The look of these pants is not completely formal and the pants are worn outside office and on formal occasions as well. These pants are with pleats as well as without pleats which are also called as flat fronts. Men's pants refer to the kind of trousers and have single as well as double needle stitching. The fold at the hem is stitched using a machine with the stitch running at about an inch from the end, similar to that in jeans or any trousers for that matter.
Some of the Men's pant fits are comfort and relaxed fit. This is one of the kind of fit that is loose from the thighs and knees and it is also reckoned as one of the most very popular fit. The others would include the classic or regular fit which is slightly trimmer than comfort fit and also tapers a little.
The tight fits are the kind of pants that are way too tight for the thighs and hence are not a very common type of fit. The others are the trim fit which is very trim yet not tight fit. They are the types that are not too loose and the fit is fairly close to the body. Normally people with smaller waists like 30-32 usually go for trim fit when they don’t want their pair of pants to be loose.
There are several variations available in pants in terms of pleats. They come with pleats, without pleats, single pleats, double pleats and even reverse pleats. The pants may have the following basic types of pockets such as the straight pocket, cross-pocket, and the l-pocket which is quite in vogue. L-pocket is normally found on only flat fronts and is considered to be more like casual pants.
